This Week In Baseball: Week One is in the Books
Good Morning Pistols Fans,
For those of you who grew up always watching and playing baseball like I did, Mel Allen did "This Week in Baseball" every Saturday, it was better than Saturday Morning Cartoons to me.
So here you go......This Week in Pistols Baseball......
Amazing first week. The boys worked really hard and exceeded expectations for week 1. We have a ways to go, but we'll be ready to compete in short order.
Special Shout Outs to the Donats!!! Todd, the website is incredible, thank you for all of the work you put in to that. Everyone please post and share on social media. Also, Lindsey, thank for the great work on sponsorship!! We already have 4 and looking for more, this will go to special equipment or gear needed for the boys as well as extend our funds for additional tournaments and team fun.

Also, thank you to Alison. Her family's company is sponsoring matching batbacks for the boys!! Again, absolutely amazing.
Home work for the boys:
Baseball, Baseball, Baseball: Watch it, play it, and talk about it. Play catch as much as possible and hit live pitching as much as possible.
Stay Active: Todd has the boys out there getting faster and stronger, let's be sure to keep that momentum going. For some reason, the seem to enjoy it.
Homework for the parents:
Share our website and social media with friends and families: we need 2-4 more boys to round out the team and I'd much rather do that with families that we know are a good fit with the wonderful group of families which we have started with. We're also always looking for sponsors, every dollar we get goes right back to the boys' baseball playing.
Baseball, Baseball Baseball: Select Baseball is a family affair, learn it and love it because there is going to be a lot of it. Play catch, Hit, and watch it.
We're only one week into what is hopefully many years together and I'm already floored by the boys' progress and the families' involvement. I can't wait to see where we go from here!
